1. Who we are
Gama LLC ("we," "us," "our") is the operator of the Alarm Buster mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the app, how we use it, and the choices you have. If something here is unclear, email us at hello@alarmbusterapp.com.
2. What we collect
We try to collect as little as possible. Here's what's actually involved:

What we do not collect
- We don't access your contacts, calendar, location, or photo library.
- We don't record audio or video. Camera frames are analyzed in real time and discarded.
- If you tap Ask App Not to Track on the iOS prompt, we don't share your advertising identifier with third-party SDKs.
3. Sensors and permissions
Some missions and features need access to specific phone capabilities. You'll be asked the first time, and you can revoke any of these in your iOS Settings without breaking the rest of the app.
- Camera — required for photo missions (Touch Grass, Make Bed, Object Hunt, Push-Ups) and QR scanning. Frames are processed on-device and discarded.
- Motion & Fitness — required for Shake Phone and Walk Steps missions.
- Notifications — required for the alarm to fire.
On-device by default. Mission verification (Math, Memory, Type Phrase, photo missions) runs entirely on your phone. No server sees the photo of your made bed.
4. How we use your information
We use the limited data we do collect to:
- Run the alarm and mission features you set up.
- Diagnose crashes and identify bugs through anonymous, aggregated reports.
- Measure how features are used in aggregate so we can improve the app.
- Attribute installs and (where you've granted iOS tracking permission) measure ad performance and show more relevant ads.
- Reply to support emails you send us.
We don't sell your raw personal data, and we don't use it to train third-party AI models. Advertising and analytics processing is limited to what's described here and what the underlying SDKs disclose in their own policies.
5. Sharing
We don't sell, rent, or trade personal data. We share information only in these narrow cases:
- Apple — for App Store delivery, in-app purchases, and crash reporting. Governed by Apple's privacy policy.
- Analytics SDKs — for usage analytics, crash reporting, and feature performance. They receive aggregated event data and a pseudonymous device-scoped identifier.
- Advertising SDKs — for install attribution, ad measurement, and personalized ads. If you select Ask App Not to Track on the iOS prompt, your advertising identifier (IDFA) is not shared and ads default to non-personalized.
- Legal requirements — if compelled by valid legal process. We'll push back where we can.
6. Children
Alarm Buster is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (GDPR, CCPA, and similar laws), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Because most of your data lives on your device, you can usually do this yourself by:
- Editing or deleting alarms inside the app.
- Resetting streaks from Settings.
- Deleting the app to remove all local data.
If you want us to delete information held server-side (e.g., support emails, anonymous analytics tied to a device ID), email hello@alarmbusterapp.com and we'll handle it within 30 days.
8. Security
Local data is protected by iOS sandboxing and, where applicable, full-device encryption. No system is perfect, so we recommend keeping your phone's OS up to date and your Apple ID secured with two-factor authentication.
9. International transfers
If you're outside the country where our service providers are located, your data may be processed in those countries under appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent).
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update the "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, notify you in the app before the change takes effect.
